Essential oils are steam volatile oils, distilled from plant materials and represent the typical flavor and aroma (the essence) of a particular plant and everlasting essential oil is very valuable in the perfume and flavoring industries . Liquorice flavour is found in a wide variety of candies or sweets. In most of these candies, the taste is reinforced by aniseed oil so the actual content of liquorice is very low.
