Cymbopogon flexuosus (Family: Poaceae) is native to India, Southeast Asia, and Oceania.This grass grows upto 2m tall from short woddy rhizome. Suitable in varied agroclimate regions including hills; oil yield is 209 kh/ha/year
Essential oil is perfumery, flavour, citral is used for synthesis of vitamin A.
